Awana

Visit the Awana Website
Awana partners with parents to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. The acronym, Awana, comes from the first letters of the phrase, “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.” (II Timothy 2:15) Our program offers biblical teaching, basics for a relationship with God, a foundation for a biblical worldview, ultra-fun physical activity, Bible memorization, friendship, encouragement, and awards for accomplishments. Awana is held Sunday nights from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., September through May, in the Children’s Learning Center.

Christian Service Brigade

Visit the CSB Website
CSB is a ministry for dads and their sons, ages 4 through high school. Dads learn how to disciple their sons while teaching Christian leadership in the home and the church. Single moms are encouraged to find a male family member or close adult male friend to act as a dependable stand-in dad where a father is unavailable. Weekly meetings are Mondays, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the Hangar September through May. Other activities include camp-outs, retreats, Scripture memory, and Bible lessons.

Kids Praise

Kids Praise exists for the purpose of teaching kids to praise and worship God. This is accomplished by providing them with musical experiences that are both enjoyable and spiritually nurturing. We seek to achieve these goals by choosing music that accurately reflects who God is and what He has done. We seek to offer a variety of music that both honors our sacred music heritage (hymns) and enjoys current worship styles. We also seek to provide excellent leadership that encourages spiritual development, musical growth, and further participation in children’s and music programs at Denton Bible Church. Visit the Kids Praise page for more information.

Sportsworld

Sportsworld is a week-long day camp in June hosted by Student Ministries for kids who have completed K-5th grade. All proceeds go toward Student Ministries mission trips so sign your kids up and bring them out for a great week of fantastic adventure! Registration begins on Easter Sunday at www.dbcstudents.org.
