American Heritage Girls

Find AHG on FacebookAmerican Heritage Girls is a discipleship program for girls that meets on Tuesday nights during the school year. We have amazing adventures, work on achievement badges, serve our community, learn new skills, practice leadership, and make strong friendships with girls who love the Lord. AHG reinforces what you teach at home, helping parents to fortify girls ages 5-18 to stand for truth in a culture that wants to discourage and deceive them. No camping experience necessary. Enroll at any time during the school year. Got brothers? Trail Life USA meets at the same time and place so the whole family can go together!

Awana

Visit the Awana Website
Awana partners with parents to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. The acronym, Awana, comes from the first letters of the phrase, “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.” (II Timothy 2:15) Our program offers biblical teaching, basics for a relationship with God, a foundation for a biblical worldview, ultra-fun physical activity, Bible memorization, friendship, encouragement, and awards for accomplishments. Awana is held Sunday nights from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., September through May, in the Children’s Learning Center.

Kids Praise

Kids Praise exists for the purpose of teaching kids to praise and worship God. This is accomplished by providing them with musical experiences that are both enjoyable and spiritually nurturing. We seek to achieve these goals by choosing music that accurately reflects who God is and what He has done. We seek to offer a variety of music that both honors our sacred music heritage (hymns) and enjoys current worship styles. We also seek to provide excellent leadership that encourages spiritual development, musical growth, and further participation in children’s and music programs at Denton Bible Church. Visit the Kids Praise page for more information.

Sportsworld

Sportsworld is a week-long day camp in June hosted by Student Ministries for kids who have completed K-5th grade. The week is spent developing individual sport skills, teaching students about Jesus Christ and having a blast while doing it! All proceeds go toward Student Ministries mission trips so sign your kids up and bring them out for a great week of fantastic adventure! Registration begins on Easter Sunday at www.dbcstudents.org.
